I can say all you need is the SMALLEST containers which is anywhere from 50 to 100lg. I have had some of mine for over a year and still working on the same container of pigments. They are also richer color then a pastel and come ready to use as the dust so no shaving a stick . If you have any other questions about the pigments feel free to ask
pastel smoothies are the best and I highly recommend them. It helps with not getting grain or unevenness when painting with pastels. Use the soft brushes(brown) not the stiff (white) www.jerrysartarama.com/discoun…
I use krylon matte finish which you can buy at Wal-Mart or anywhere really. If my finally results made the horse to shinny I seal my final layer using tester dullcote 1260 which you can buy at craft stores. Just make sure when use it to spray to close or heavy and that the horse is cured from the work before hand.
